Nursery

Our youngest members are able to join our bustling weekly nursery. From the ages of 2 to 5, our toddlers and young children are able to play, learn and socialise as a part of this fun and vibrant community group.

Cheder

From the ages of 5 to 11, our children can join the cheder school. Our lively lessons teach the children about Jewish religious practice, Jewish history and the Jewish family.

Through story-telling, songs, games, arts, crafts, sports and much more, our young congregation are able to extend their knowledge and confidence so they can read hebrew, and take part in our services at every opportunity.

Bar Mitzvah and Bat Chayil

The Bar Mitzvah and Bat Chayil are important events in every Jewish persons life. There is a lot to learn about Jewish practice, life and history in order to pass the exams, and to perform well during the ceremony.

At Catford And Bromley United Synagogue we offer two years of weekly lessons to help our young teens prepare for this proud event.
