C&B was transformed into an opera house when a troupe of singers took to our stage. Between then they had over 150 years of professional experience. They have performed in venues across the globe and before royalty. Clearly, coming to Catford was the icing on the cake for them.

The hall was filled to capacity and we were treated to the music of Verdi, Mozart and Bizet in the first half of the performance. In the second half we enjoyed rousing tunes from West End shows, and some were almost moved to tears by Sunrise, Sunset from Fiddler on the Roof.

The evening was a resounding success and concluded after an encore and a round of applause.
